This year’s Tyler Cattle Baron’s Ball mission moment paddle raise will support American Cancer Society’s Patient Transportation and Lodging Grant Program in the State of Texas and Lung Cancer Research.

Lung Cancer Research

Lung cancer is by far the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women in the United States. Our research program has played a role in many of the prevention, screening, and treatment advances that save lives from lung cancer today. And, we continue to fund research to help save even more lives in the future.

Access to Care

The American Cancer Society works to remove barriers to timely, high-quality cancer care through our Access to Care work, which include our transportation solutions, lodging solutions and our National Cancer Information Helpline. These grants address these urgent patient needs to improve outcomes and remove financial burden.

Every dollar donated will go directly to fund our national portfolio of innovative Lung Cancer Research or Access to Care for Texas cancer patients.
